Boston Whaler 16'/17' Nauset, Sakonnet or Eastport solid mahogany (not veneer) console KIT complete with windshield.   Available with or without the optional front seat. This is an unvarnished and partially unassembled kit that you finish yourself. This console was standard on many 16'/17' classic Boston Whalers from the 60's and 70's. This console can also be used in newer Montauk and Outrage hulls, or any boat that is configured for a center console setup.

Note: Despite measures such as braces and against grain wood placement, due to the nature of raw wood there will be slight bowing in these pieces. Once assembled the bowing will diminish.

Note: Edges are not required to be sealed however the recommended approach is to use waterproof wood glue or West Systems epoxy on the edges which serves a dual purpose of bonding in addition to the screws making it considerably strong as well as sealing. Red LockTite should be used on finishing screws.
